    The Workforce Diversity staff assists Executive Branch agencies in the development of diversity programming and initiatives.

    Executive Branch state agencies are assisted with compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by the Workforce Diversity staff. Staff provides direction and technical assistance to state agency personnel to facilitate compliance with Titles I and II of the American's Disabilities Act and Executive Order 96-9.

    The Minnesota Management & Budget (MMB) Internal Control & Accountability unit (IC&A) is staffed with a Director and four Internal Control Specialists. Prior to accepting the IC&A position, Director Jeanine Kuwik served as the MMB Financial Reporting Supervisor with primary responsibility for the preparation of the state’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).  Before starting her tenure at MMB, Jeanine was an audit manager with the Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA). Each of the internal control specialists held a wide variety of audit, internal control, and financial services positions within the private sector before beginning their state service.

    The unit’s broad educational experiences, professional certifications, and work experiences provide for diverse and practical perspectives on internal control and management theory.
